R5 Productions was created in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic with the mission of presenting live radio plays for virtual audiences. Through our productions, including our annual Playhouse Series of one acts, we create opportunities for artists while providing audiences with an intriguing and timeless listening experience. We’re based in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, but with our virtual productions, we can collaborate with artists and serve audiences wherever they are. Our name comes from the old R5 train line which connects Philadelphia to Doylestown, the heart of Bucks County.
